Ice & Heat Therapy

No extra charge: included in sessions

Cryotherapy (ice) is a cooling application that works to calm irritated tissues and slow down the inflammatory response within a specific region. As the temperature of the tissue decreases, blood flow to the area is temporarily reduced, which helps reduce swelling and ease discomfort. Beyond addressing inflammation, your cryotherapy can help ease muscle spasms, settle nerve sensitivity, reduce muscular soreness, and support recovery after a strain or injury.

When you receive moist heat therapy, gentle warmth is applied to the area of need, allowing heat to penetrate into your muscles and surrounding tissues. As temperatures rise, circulation increases, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the area while helping your muscles soften and relax. Heat can help reduce stiffness, improve tissue flexibility, and prepare your body for movement or hands on treatment. By encouraging blood flow, this therapy can make soft tissue work, joint manipulation, stretching, or corrective exercises feel smooth and comfortable for you.

During your session, the ice or heat application is monitored to ensure you get the therapeutic benefits without overexposure. By targeting the exact area of concern, your treatment is designed to help you feel more comfortable, improve mobility, and promote more efficient healing
